Jauhimo is large space on the upper floor of the concentrator plant that once housed the mine’s enormous grinding mills. The space is ideal for organising meetings, banquets and events in summertime.
Jauhimo is especially well suited for weddings, as the space can accommodate a large number of guests. Directly beneath the space is a chapel that can also be used for wedding ceremonies.
The historical and well-lit space still has the marks of decades of work, making it an impressive venue for events. Beneath the arched windows there is a balcony that affords a beautiful view to the town centre. Jauhimo can seat around 100 guests with standing room for an additional 200 to 300 guests.
